Recently, some big cotton merchants in Heze, Shandong Province, started to hold Xinjiang warehouse receipts and they did not sell them, and they continuously purchased a large number of warehouse receipts in Xinjiang, making the prices rise, but the market acceptance was not high.

On July 16th, the price of the local Xinjiang Level 3 warehouse arranging single cotton was 19,350 yuan/ton (publicly fixed, ticketed, self-raised), which was 200 yuan/ton higher than that on July 14; the price of SM grade Australian cotton was 19,700 yuan/year Tonnes (net weight, ticket, and self-promotion) rose by 300 yuan/ton from July 14.
