Recently, Poloplast, a German company, introduced a PP (Polypropylene) downcomer conveying pipe. The pipe adopts a three-layer technology. The inner and outer layers of the pipe are generally PP, while the middle layer is rigid and resistant to high loads on the ground. The intermediate layer PP is a compound composed of PP and magnesium silicate. After the crosslinking of the compound occurs, the elastic modulus of the material is increased and the rigidity is high.
According to actual measurement results, the deformation rate of the general PP sewer laid underground is 8% after one year, and the deformation rate of the three-layer downpipe from the intermediate modified PP layer is only 2.3%, which is significantly lower than that of the ordinary PP pipe. The rubber sealing collar is used at the joint of the three-layer PP downcomer. Even if it is deformed by 30% due to external force and load, the connection socket will not be disconnected.
