Dalang Lane: "China's first village of Maozhi"

In the area of the “Mao Zhi Avenue” in the lane, the woolen weaving shop is everywhere, and the Dalang Alley, which does not produce a wool, has evolved into a “Mao Kingdom”. Under the guidance of Chen Jinhua, the propaganda committee member of the Alley Community, and the uncle of the old cadre of the alley, the reporter walked into the "Old Wai" of the lane, and traced the source in the birthplace of Dalang Maozhi.

Walking in the old surrounding of the lane, surrounded by antique tiled buildings, it is like returning to the Republic of China. "In the past, it was called 'Xin Hui'. Every time the second, fifth or eighth lunar calendar, the people gathered in the town would run here, very lively." Uncle Ming pointed to the old street that was once flowing, proudly Tell the reporter.

"The household looms", this is the most profound impression left by the reporters. From the street to the end of the street, even in the intricate alleys, the "squeaking" of the loom work never stops, lingering in every corner of the old circle, Mao Zhi deeply integrated into the life of the headman.

Walking on the street where the household looms, Chen Jinhua talked to reporters about the cause of the woven wool. Chen Jinhua said that in 1979, I heard that a Hong Kong person had intentionally came to Dongguan to invest in Maozhi Factory. Chen Huangkun, the village cadre, and Chen Qiuchun, the village head, rushed to Shenzhen overnight. They waited for two days and two nights before they took the Hong Kong boss to the lane and walked around. Seeing that the investment environment in the lane is good, the Hong Kong boss immediately signed a contract for the establishment of a woolen factory with 16 machines. Several Hong Kong masters taught the workers to operate the machine. Soon, the Hong Kong-owned woolen factory added 16 hand-looking looms.

Since the mid-1980s, the head of the brain has become a "self-reliant portal." "At that time, I was on the road, and almost every one had the sound of a loom." Chen Jinhua said. In the woolen weaving factory in the lane, a group of migrant workers were slowly active. They were like the old people in the street, learning to pull the machine, learning the sewing plate, learning to fight and so on.

"In the 1990s, the woolen weaving factory in the alleys blossomed everywhere, and the production pattern of 'house looms' was generally formed." Ming Shu told reporters that 10 of the heads had 8 open weaving factories and every one in the alley community. The corners are all looms, but these so-called woolen factories are basically small family-style workshops, generally brothers, husband and wife, father and son factories, small scale, and mainly hand-braking looms.

Uncle Ming recalled that during the day, the woolen market was very lively, and the nighttime community was also a scene of “no night”. Some woolen merchants who make export orders usually work overtime at night to order orders. From the purchase of wool to the weaving, delivery to the small factory dyeing, this process is busy at night. In order to deliver the goods in time for the next morning, the woolen merchants had to let the workers iron the shirts and pack them overnight.

By 1996, there were more than 200 individual and private woolen enterprises in Xiangtou. The woolen industrial city was built in the village and became an important sweater production base in Dalang Town. It was also from that time that Dalang Maozhi Industry entered the heyday of rapid development. After accumulating abundant private capital, many of the people who started their own business began to update their production equipment, expand their scale, expand their product sales, and develop into a large factory from a small factory.

Today, the Xiangtou community is already the “China's first village of woolen weaving”, with more than 1,800 woolen weaving enterprises, which are well-known on the Maozhi Avenue and have high-rise buildings. Looking around, the rows of woolen shops and the large-scale signs on both sides of the road are particularly eye-catching. A textile old man in the lane said that yarn , knitting machinery , sweaters - As long as the accessories or materials related to woolen fabrics can be bought on this woolen street.

In the 30 years of the shuttle line, the heads of the people accompanied by the baptism of reform and opening up, coupled with their keen eye and the spirit of dare to dare to do, the farmers turned into workers, and the workers turned over to the boss and used them. The flying needles lined up and weaved a colorful road to get rich.
