The Chinese Disabled People's Art Troupe stated that a press conference will be held in early April to give an account of this matter. Ting Mei Group deputy general manager Zhan Dedong responded that the “Taiwan Guanyin” version packaging is still in the application stage of appearance patents and has not yet been used on Meilie’s decompression socks products, so it does not constitute infringement. He said that if the “fibre leg Guanyin” model is not approved by the intellectual property department, Tingmei Group will handle the design within the scope of the law.
