Recently, the purchasing price of seed cotton in Linqing, Shandong Province, rose steadily. On Dec. 19, the purchase price of Grade 4 seed cotton was 3.50-3.60 yuan/kg (more than 37% of clothes and 12% water), and the purchase price of Tonghua was 3.35- 3.45 yuan / kg (clothing points 36% or so), are up 0.06-0.10 yuan / kg from last week. Due to the proximity of the two sections, some cotton farmers actively sell seed cotton for the sake of safety. The acquisition volume of seed cotton purchased by various manufacturers has increased significantly from last week. Generally, the daily acquisition volume is about 20,000 kilograms, and more than 30,000 kilograms.
