Jade lovers talk about jade collection and jade culture

From October 11th to 13th, the 2nd China Jade Collection Culture Seminar hosted by the Academic Research Department of the China Collectors Association and the Shanghai Collection and Appreciation Association was held in Shanghai. Nearly 200 jade researchers and collectors from all over the country used this seminar as a platform to explore topics such as jade collection and jade culture research.

At the seminar, Gu Shufang of the Chinese Collectors Association, Ye Shuxian, Professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhang Zhaogen, Director of the Suzhou Institute of Archaeology, Cai Luwu, Director of the Librarykeeping Department of Hubei Province, Sun Bingjun of the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology, Li Ling, Henan Provincial Museum, etc. I exchanged ideas and related academic guidelines on jade research and collection with jade collectors.

The seven topics discussed at the seminar were: understanding of the long-standing Chinese jade culture, research on the history of jade collection, experience and experience in the jade collection process, and understanding of the collection (such as jade, carving, modeling, ornamentation, enamel Research on color, etc.), experience in the identification of ancient jade, jade market and investment, and jade, craft and creative research of modern jade.
