This includes investing in product research and development, expanding market reach, and cultivating high-quality, competitive products that can stand out globally. Additionally, Jia highlighted the need for weaving companies to take initiative in their development. He called on government departments to provide stronger support and for the Liubian Association to play a more active role in guiding the industry. Together, they should create a favorable environment that promotes the growth of the Liubian industry. The goal is to build a modern industrial system, integrate urban development with production, and ensure that Gushi Liubian becomes a core pillar of the local economy in Henan. Another key point was the need for continued investment and strategic planning. Jia urged the county to focus on building strong production bases, scaling up operations, and developing comprehensive industry plans. By addressing major obstacles and enhancing brand recognition, Gushi can elevate its status as the "Hometown of Willow Weaving" and further develop the Liubian industry into a cultural and economic powerhouse. According to reports, Gushi County has already made significant progress by leveraging its natural resources, geographical advantages, and rich cultural heritage. The Liubian industry has been established as a key driver of economic growth, leading to rapid development and impressive results. Today, over 100 willow weaving enterprises operate in the county, exporting products to 86 countries and regions worldwide. This industry has also created thousands of jobs, helping tens of thousands of farmers along the Huai River area increase their income. As a result, the Liubian industry has become the largest cluster, most important pillar, and wealth-generating sector in Gushi County.
