Almost all of the high-end handicrafts are from industries above designated size. With regard to characteristics, it can be concluded that the proportion of high-end handicrafts sales to total handicraft sales is not large, and government procurement is based on high-end products.

“Actually, in the past few years, the orientation of high-end crafts has also shown its differentiation.” Tang Guojian said that with the rise of personal collections, the construction of private clubs, and the consumption of private corporate culture and arts, these have actually become the main sales targets for high-end handicrafts. He said that one of the practical reasons for continuing to be optimistic about the prospect of the handicraft industry is the upcoming 48th National Craft Trade Fair to be held in Yangzhou. The fair is mainly for general consumer groups, and the number of exhibitors and the types of arts and crafts exhibited have all hit a record. The most recent event has even attracted foreign exhibitors from Pakistan and Canada, which reflects the confidence of the industry in the market.
